if you want adjustability, there is no comparison, get the coil over. you will be able to go much lower if that is your thing.
big daddy
have your rear spring spacers put in and it will level out your kit. it your rear is lower, the installer removed the spring pads.

I would rate coilover the best, then cup kit then spings & shocks. But the ride of coilover is VERY rough, be prepared!

Out Of Control!!
Coilovers are not necessarily a harsh ride, it depends on how the shock valving is. With that in mind, companies design product to maximize sales. I would doubt that an extremely harsh coilover will be developed for the C class because it's a Mercedes, most people want a Mercedes-like ride.
Thanks

I agree with you that the coilovers for MB will not be as harsh as coilovers for....maybe a VW. But if you put a set of coilovers on a C240/320, to an ordinary owner, he will feel VERY rough. Some members in here said they found it rough even changing from 16" to 17" wheels.

My opinion is the Cup Kit. The only reason why I put the AMG shocks back on is I found the H&R shocks not as stiff as the AMGs.
