Powerchip threaten to take you to court if you discussed your "powerchip" experience on this forum?

P.S. Can you e-mail me the "experience" then? I would assume e-mailing would not violate the agreement you had with Powerchip. If not thats ok too.....because personally I have interest in getting their product....but after hearing this......not so much anymore~

Like I said I don't want to discuss anything over the forum, if you want to e-mail me, feel free. I'm sure a lot of people on the board remember what happened, I know there are some older posts on the other forum, I don't remember how much detail they provided. Essentially I was the first w203 (1.8) with it, the product could be vastly different now, and I have no new experience with it. Everything worked out in the end, yes, after the threatening phone call to me, and as you see by my list of mods it's no longer on my car.

Don't let my experience ruin it for you or others, they stand behind their product and not every product is perfect (no matter what the company or the product).

I doubt anyone w/a C230 will ever find the gains that all chipping companies promise for our cars. I have some experience, but I can't tell you about it.

 

I strive to find some gains - but then again I realize the easy access I have to keep testing and testing til something works - something tells me that we need bigger injectors though. Does anyone have info on that?

Lots of discussions on tuning. Some have gone with Powerchip and some with Speed Innovation. There are others out there, but these two seem to be the most commonly purchased.

Evosport=Powerchip and they own Mbworld, or rather did until they sold it recently, so who knows that the deal is now. I've been very happy with my $600 AMG BBK kit, and thats my only experience with them.
(no you can't get it for that price anymore, don't ask)

Typically, correct me if I'm wrong, but the Xtra power is gotten in the hi rpm range, above 6K rpm which is the redline, but the chip pushes it to 6500 or 7000 I think...and that where the power is.
