UPDATE: I took my car in for service a couple of weeks ago. The SA was able to correct the problem for free! He just spliced some wires to the side that did not have the wires connected to it.

Do the TSBs themselves say what to do to fix it? Could a general mechanic (like myself) follow the instructions?

I really don't like my local dealership, they overcharge for everything. No way I'm paying anything close to $200 to "rig up" some wires.

I had the same done at a local private shop. Cost me $60.
