Car got towed last night and damaged front bumper
So last night I was at a halloween block party in Old Town Scottsdale, AZ. I parked my car in the student parking lot of the school I go to. Came out and my car was gone.
To start, I had to go pick it up at 3:00 am, pay $100 to get it out, and I look at my front Lorinser bumper and the entire bottom is all scratched up from them loading it on the truck.
Such a pain in the ***. Here are some pictures of the front.

Get an estimate from your body shop,
bring your pictures and the estimate to the towing company.
You paid your dues, now let the school or the towing company pay the repairs.

Yeah, I called the tow company today, but the owner was not there since it is the weekend. Going to give them a call again tomarrow and get this all straightend out.
And yes, my car is lowered. I have the full Lorinser sport suspension.

Yeah, unfortunately not every tow driver cares about the cars they are towing. Wait a minute. Is there any tow driver who cares about the car they are towing? Not in my experience, as you can see below. ![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
On to the real advice, be careful not to accept any offer from the tow company to fix it themselves. Make sure their insurance pays for it.

ouch...good luck getting it sorted out. They'll probably deny everything since u didn't show them what happened right when you picked up the car. but still, hope you get them to pay for the damage.

What kind of truck did they use to tow your car? It looks like they lifted one end and scraped your bumper. I thought MB recommended only a flat-bed truck, not a traditional wrecker. If they used tow hooks, they may have done suspension damage too (CV joint boots, control arms, etc.). I would recommend having the MB dealer (or any MB expert mechanic) put your car on a lift and inspect for damage. Have them make a written report. Be prepared to pay for this service, and have it done ASAP.
You will probably have to sue through small claims court. If they cannot tow your car without damaging it, they should not make the attempt, unless someone's life is in danger. Parking illegally (or whatever your crime) is no reason to cause damage to a car. Keep all receipts. Sue both the towing company and the company that owns the lot, otherwise they will point fingers at each other ("it's not my fault", etc.).
Get your insurance company involved, if possible. They have many lawyers.
Depending on the exact circumstances, and the laws in your state, you may wish to file a Police report for "theft" of your car. Your chances of success are not great, but it will be a nuisance and cause problems for the parties that towed your nice MB.

Sue them for as much as possible, they have to be sent a message that they can't mess up your car for a tow. I've told my HOA, tow my car and it goes straight to court for trying to enforce unreasonable parking restrictions and typically the homeowner wins in these cases.
