I want to install heated seats i was looking all night around the forum and couldnt find any succesfull job or part numbers, etc.

this is for the c240 and i was reading that some 209 came with the heating element is this true for the 240 as well and how do i figure it out and if it does come with it what do i need

 

Sunman did a major makeover of his seats using W209 and W211 technology and I did heated front seat in my car.

It has been done many times .....

Whenever you buy replacement leathers for your car (even if you have fabric you buy leather) the seats always come with heating in the W209 and W203.

In the W202 / W463 / W168 the heater is a pad not part of the leather.

You need to check under your seat for starters.

my c240 has the leather inserts do those come with the heating element and how much was the toal mod? aprox?

i use the heated seats 3-5 minutes tops!

once it gets hot i turn it off, it's annoying, plus i don't want hard boiled eggs

I would love to do this to my ride. I bought used and it didn't have that option. How would one go about installing this feature? Is it easier to have it done at the dealership and how much would they charge? I've always wondered about having options installed on a used car weeks or months after the purchase. I had heated seats in my GTI and they were most comfortable especially for people with bad backs. I miss that feeling because it was most therapeutic, seriously. How do I get started?

i would love to but that mod is going to cost about $4000 for the front seats alone. so i dont think ill be doing the back seats. though ive been thinking about it because if i did i would install rear seat heating elements. can i get the Designo duo tone with the vented seat leather?

And I use mine everyday! I rarely turn on my actual Heat and use the Heated Seats instead. Just bought I kit to do my drivers seat on my W201 as well. They do not stay hot as hell when set to setting 1 so normally I use the two setting and let it switch to 1 and never use my heat. Which is why I got them for the W201. Some use them a lot some use them only when really cold.

 

i use my heated seats with vented feature. It blows warm air then.

 

I use it everytime I am in the car. I find it very comfortable and it helps my lower back
