Obsidian black looks amazing if you keep it nice n clean. It will get dirtier than the iridium silver. So it's pretty much up to you depends on what you want. When nice and clean obsidian black will look a lot better than the iridium silver

neither, but if i had to choose one of those two boring colors that will blend in with the sea of all the other black and silver cars on the road, i would choose silver.
swirls dont show as much, nor does the dirt. alot easier to keep clean. if you had a black car, washed, parked it in the garage over night, you'd wake up in the morning to find a light film of dust.

If it were up to me, i would choose Black Opal which is pretty much black with a hint of blue in it. I think it looks gorgeous, oh and it'll look sick at night time.

black is my choice
i will definitely go for black (well..i did). Black looks elegant and classic. The dirt might be more obvious on it, but once it's clean its brightness beats everybody else. Plus, black never fails over the years. I have a co-worker drving a 8 year old black C280 and it still looks so shiny and Mercedes-y!

I would (and did) choose black. A lot of the times it depends on the car. For the C-coupe, I would go with black, personally. Although I never did like Obsidian Black. All the Obsidian cars I've ever seen (even when they were clean) looked "dirty". I think the other metallic black shades look better (Opal or Diamond), and flat black is also better. JMHO.
One tip though, if you keep your car well polished (I recommend Zaino), your car will look 10x better than 95% of the cars on the road, irrespective of color. Although I think a good polish job pops more with a dark color than a light one.

black is ballar in benz. But a pain in the *** to keep up on it clean. it also hides the "lines" of the car
silver is just your average classic. stays clean. everyone has it. always looks good.
up to you

I have obsidian black and think its a beutiful colour when clean really set my car off, but I find that its extremly easy to sratch and mark and parcticaly everytime you wash it you find new stone chips, so I would seriousley consider silver!!!!

I'm gonna have to say silver because that's the color I went with. I, incedentally narrowed it down to black, silver and pewter, but my dealer had the exact options that I wanted on a silver one that was on a boat headed to the LA port, so that made my choice easier, but I am happy that it worked out that way.
Silver much easier to keep clean and swirl marks do not appear as readily as they do on black. It also is a nice contrast to the MB factory blue tint, if you are getting a model with such windows.
