Fuel left in gallons pretty accurate
I'm quite surprise that this feature is quite accurate. Today, I drove my car until it said I had 1.8 gallons left in the tank. I went to the gas pump, pumped in some premium gas at $2.32/gallon and when finished, the pump meter said I had pumped 14.44 gallons total. Well, if my math is correct, it's almost right on the dot.
16.3 gallons - 1.8 gallons left = 14.5 gallons needed to fill the tank
I got 14.44 gallons at the pump. Pretty cool feature. Now, I don't have to worry about how many gallons I have left when the needle is close E. Another thing, the fuel indicator light comes on at 2 gallons. Just thought I share with everyone!

i got his on my car....go into your menu to wear it says your gas milage and what your gettin per gallon and press down...i have a 2005 c230 from Florida...it is very accurate when it says 0 it means 0 lol i ran out of gas

aka w203 doesnt display gallons left when you roll the car out off the lot
W210 and W208 displays the gallons left when you roll the car off the lot

so im sorry if im asking this again, but what do we have to do to get this feature since its not standard on the 05 c230 SS?? i know someone said steve will do it but thats only when he is around.. (NJ trip soon?? please) otherwise if we go to the dealer they will pretty much have no idea what to do.. is that correct??
