I bought a used 2004 C230K coupe. The paperwork says bought new in October 2004. Would it say 2004.5 anywhere in papers if it was? Thanks

04.5 was a designation assigned to the sedan not the coupe. In addition, MB doesn't use half terms only the public.

One of the big features in late 2004 was the Nano paint that doesn't chip/swirl as easily. Check your door jamb, if the paint code starts with C then it's got nano paint (for example, 040 is regular black C40 is nano black. Other than that I don't know anyother differences between early and late coupes.
