ok, I'll bite. although this has been discussed numerous times in other threads and I'm biased.

230k. why? better fuel economy, faster, and the cool kompressor badge at the other side of the trunk. :p

also, it doesn't have the first-gen 7-speed that could have been a pro in the 06's favor but isn't b/c of it's hard time "hunting" for gears and rough shifts.

What they said :p

But Mostly

1. Better fuel economy
2. Kompressor (Supercharger)
3. Better tire ?! Pilot Sports > Pilot Primacy

i'm curious to wonder, why it is faster when the 06 is a v6 @ 201? kind of weird, glad this was brought up though.

how about the 06 350ss vs 230ss?

that's a pretty bad/unfair comparison. if the 350 were out last year I would have purchased that. but I wanted time to have my car and use it prior to the w204's coming out. the proper comparison would be the c320 v. c350.

I'd rather get the 06 2.5V6, mainly because I believe in a bigger engine =]

but on the other hand, U'd have more fun with the I4 1.8Kompressor

I think the 05 produces more torque than the V6 and also different gear ratios. i'm not 100% sure and i'm too busy to look up the specifications for the cars.

i've never driven the the '06's .. but i've driven c240 and 320... 230k is more fun.. but i assume V6's are more reliable. maybe?

I test drove both, before deciding on the '05 Kompressor.
Basically for the same reasons as stated above; power, torque, gas mileage, smoother transmission and most importantly price!

I got my at the end of August, during their summer incentive program, and ended up getting it for around $1000 BELOW invoice!

They wouldn't have negotiated the 2006 models that way/low.

Cool... Not to burst your bubble or anything and I don't know how it is in TX, but I got the same deal on my 05 in July of 04 AND I got to use the C-Spot coupon.
