...so do I...but it seriously sucks when you get pointed to the upper deck of a ferry from denmark to norway...the car is too low for those kind of on/off ramps

2005 C Wagon (No snickering please!)
One of my favorite car ferrys is from Newport to Balboa Island, holds three cars, takes 5 minutes and costs about a buck and a half.

I notice some of the Porsches have little plastic wheels under the front bumper to avoid driveway rash. C class could use a set like that.

Steve, your wagon looks terrific. Keep up the good work.

thanks Mark

After 6 days and 3408km (2125 miles) we returned back home (pretty exhausted as the trip home was a 1775km drive by itself!!!)...
3 cars (my father's 1968 200D, my 1993 C250D and my 2001 C270CDI),
11 people,
1 Norwegian mercedes GTG,
2 first place prices (best C class for the wagon),
2 rear tires (the wagon tires completely worn out on this trip ),
a total of 10.000+km (with 3 cars) and
approx. 800 liters of diesel later

I simply LOVE norwegian mountain road driving - the wagon handles so freaking tight in curves (even with 4 people and a trunk full of luggage)!!!
