Here is my 04 c230k. Stock. Future plans are rims, lowering, and xenons. This is my 1st MB, bought it ~2 weeks ago with 30k miles. I wanted to test out mb, so figured this would be a good place to start. Also it was a cloudy day when i took the pictures... so that explains the different (sometimes poor) lighting.

















and i figured why not toss in a few bmw pictures. this one was washed like 3 days ago, not detailed etc...

Very nice! Coming from the same background as me. I was looking to get out of this car and into a Mach1 or a Terminator. I had a '96 Cobra but that was back in the day and wanted to drive something a little faster.

Anyway, let the modding begin!

 

Very clean! The car looks good stock, but a few simple mods will make it great.

You are fortunate enough to have the updated 2004 model. This is one of the most unique years of the w203. You have free service, 4 piston front calipers w/ cross-drilled rotors, updated rims, sport steering wheel, embiant lighting, etc... I'm sure there are more, but just can't think of them.

The 2005's got updated interior, updated suspension, updated cluster, and updated sound system on top of the 2004.5, but got downgraded to a 2 piston caliper.

Now, MB doesn't refer to our model (I have one too) as a 2004.5, but it is called that on here (so that everybody knows it is an updated version as far as brakes, rims, etc...).

No problem. That's not something that everybody would go around looking for information on. In fact, when I first got my car, I didn't realize I got updates until I came on here.

 

yup its a 2004.5 and got the 4-piston brakes. time to get rid of those chromies

 

Well its not my daily driver... seeing as i run 110 octane in her, at 6.55 a gallon. I dont drive it in the rain, or anywhere >85 degrees. If its ~60 degrees WOW this baby ****s and gets.

And i do have the hood, somewhere, but imo it just doesnt look very good with it on.

 

First mod.... well i have two JL audio 10s and a JL audio 4chan amp that i am going to put in, after i get the custom box built (only way to do it?). After that it will be biXs. All of that should be done within the next couple weeks.

I have nooooo idea what rims to put on it, so im open to suggestions... anything new/rare that anyone would like to see on it? Im up for suggestions like i said. Once i figure out what wheel/tire combo that will be slapped on there. Then lowered, not sure how much, its depending on how it looks with new rims.

And thats all i have in mind for now.... im sure my mind will come up with some other way to torture my wallet soon enough

Yes sir, it does. If you look at hss0p's pics, he has one where you clearly see the 4 pistons. On the later build 2005-present 230's, there are only 2 pistons. There are only a handful of early-build 2005 models that also got the 4 caliper pistons. This is why it was more difficult for 2005+ models to find replacement brake pads. The 4 piston Sport calipers can use the C32 front pads, whereas the 2005+ 2 piston calipers cannot.
