I bought a couple of V6 kompressor badges, took off the V6, and just mounted the kompressor on both fenders. I also debadged the rear completely (both the C230 and the kompressor).
It looks hot (IIDSSM). Recommended.

I kinda like this idea. However, I don't think that anyone is trying to 'scare' others by putting an I4 or 1.8 on the side. IMO, it makes the car look different, yet maintains the stock badging placement of other MB vehicles. Thus, you get the best of both worlds: unique badging yet stock look. Certainly it's not as impressive as having the words "V12 Kompressor" on the side, but they do make a "V6 Kompressor" badging, and considering all the V6s out there in other cars (and better V6s, in several cases), that ain't very impressive, IMO.
