20's on a W203...who did it?!?!

Someone here put 20's on a W203. I remember seeing people talking about it, but I don't remember who it was. Does anyone remember? I need to talk to them. This 19" wheel thing just isn't cutting it anymore

yeah me too, but have been unable to find it

From what I understand the biggest part of getting 20's on the car is the modification of the spring perch. I would hate to reinvent the wheel if I can find the person who has already done it

Very well said...

I was given info in regards to the rears on 03 w203 ss needing to be shaved slightly for 19x8.5s so if you figure with 20's it might be the same issue. But than again I'l leave it to someone with more knowledge to comment on this.

From what I remember, didn't he get banned for promoting the black housing headlights without being a sponsor or maybe there was more to it than that.

"02" C230K Coupe
U can put 20's on a w203 but ull need 20 25 series tires. Which wont be worth it cause ull spend about 300 dollars a tire and ull be more likely to put a dent n ur rims.

If you look at the MB Oktoberfest meet you can see Sinyo's car there. First off he got 20's but it's not on perfectly, he still gets rubbing.

I am not concerned with the price of tires because they are sponsored and I am not concerned with denting my rims because I don't drive the car anway

i would never put 20s on a small sedan. simple because the rims will be so thin and narrow (since the car will be unable to take wide 20s). makes the car look weak. that's just my perspective (some of you may disagree). i prefer having 18s or 19s and have it wide in the back.

The basic key to running 20's is how well your local shop can do fender modifications. I believe TWS did sinyos, besides that you need an exact tire size and if your sponsored by a tire company you need to make sure they even make that size. 20" tires usually only come in certain sizes for certain companies.
