Poor crappy service at Mercedes Dealer

I am not the complaining type but I brought my Mercedes into the Mercedes Dealer at Plaza Motors in St. Louis, MO today and I was disappointed in the service. I paid $487 for Service B service and my car was "supposedly" serviced. The Mercedes description for Service B service said a car wash was included. I received my car with crap all over my car and no car wash.

If they skipped out on the car wash, I am wondering what else they skipped out on with my Service B servicing. How do I check to see whether the work was actually done or not?

Service B should cost no more than $300+tax. Give them a big negative when the service survey comes......

Yea they get worse and worse. I have a friend that works there... you'll be surprised that service A and service B is the same. When i went in for my second service, friend just said get service A cause it's the same thing or else i'll be just throwing money away. Although it doesn't state that in the manual. All they do is simply change oil and brake fliud (if needed), and that's it!!!! They don't check brake, lights, suspension, etc... think about it, they get dozens of cars each day, they don't got the time.

Is that right...Damn MB service...why they get worse...

I still hope they will get better.

Btw, molarband: try to talk with the SA or even the Service Manager. There was one time i got my car really dirty after being serviced. I talked w/ the manager and he hook me up with free detailing.

Good Luck

I would have brought that up BEFORE I departed and ask the SA or manager if he/she thinks that's acceptable. I don't accept ****ty service neither should you, it's not like you're getting it for free. At this point and time, I would still generate a letter to the manager.

I agree. I would've demanded that they wash the car if it was included in what I paid for.

Read my short story here:https://mbworld.org/forums/showpost....78&postcount=6.

I did forget to mention that the car was delivered with scuff marks and mechanical grease everywhere. The car wasn't even washed. I wonder if MBUSA pays attention to the many forums out there. Does anyone think that by coming together as a mass on this issue, we can bring it the attention to MB corporate offices? Look, I'm sure they already know that this problem exists but the truth of the matter is, their name and reputation for customer service is being tarnished in a major way. I'm not trying to change the world but how soon before we start seeing a positive stride to better our brand? Could you imagine if they bring back their complimentary service on future models? Where does that leave off for the many who purchased in 2005? I'll bet you'll see several class action lawsuits. No good.

:v
