Here are some pictures of the winter wheel and tire package that I just purchased and installed. I bought the Bridgestone Blizzak LM-25 in 225/45VR17 at all four corners with ASA JH3 wheels. I really liked the wheels that Jkw purchased and really considered them but in the end it came down to saving a little money and not wanting to have to clean the little fake bolts around the perimeter of the wheels. I do think that those wheels however are better looking than mine on a Mercedes.

I ordered them from Luke at the Tire Rack and paid $1,100.

i drive them all, fast and hard
i think im going to have to submit to buying a winter package, especially after wht happened last night

i still have the OEM contis on the car cuz the car was bought in california. but here in chicago it has been sliding all over, and with esp off, forget about it, last nigth i slid into a snow bank, that was fun, LOL, after shovelling it out, and going back and forth finally got it out, but only after turning esp off for the last bit to get the tires to move. ESP really shuts the engine down, doesnt go over 2000 rpm.

the dilemma is, if i do get winters, do i get OEM sizes, the car is staggered now, so should i get same sizes.

the other thing is, im moving to miami in july, no snow there, wont need the tires.

i also have the w126 but it has goodyear all seasons, its been doing alright

HUGE difference between snows and regular all seasons.... If you are in the northeast, you should definately invest in it.... I have seen some toyota camrys, front wheel drive car get stuck, as I pass by them in my rear wheel drive CLK500..!!
