XM Radio AND iPod???

XM Radio AND iPod???
This is probably a simple question for you benz/audiophiles out there...
I have a 2004.5 C230KSS. I had XM after-market installed last spring (XM Commander). Flawless installation, and it works great. Now I am wondering if I can have a cable installed to accommodate my iPod.
Does the XM install negate anything else being hooked up? I've read about an AUX(?) hookup under the passenger door pillar, or thereabouts. Can I use that? All I want to do is have a 1/4 stereo plug that I can plug and play my iPod with. From what I've read, it may be easier to do on the 2005's...not sure about my 2004.5.
Thanks!

MBWorld Fanatic!
Commander is installed via an FM modulator, you can install a second FM modulator on a differen frequency and switch back and forth between the two. AUX is only available if you have Comand Navigation, not the standard radio.

Thanks for the reply.
So, would I/could I/should I use something like the new iCruze from Monster?
If I can disconnect my glove-box mounted 6-disc changer and use those connections, I'd be very cool with that...using my iPod instead of the CD.
