i ordered mine too; $51.77 for the filter and $5.50 for shipping. Kai at eurosport said they'd ordered 20 and they hadn't filled out that order with buyers yet (though i made one less available, of course ) so act quick and you'll get it within 2-3 weeks.

I've got a call from Josh@Eurosport yesterday (left him msgs days ago) and he said he does not have the C32 filter specs. He said he has to probably ask ITG to custom made one for me. He asked me to take out the stock filter and take pics with measurements shown by a ruler. Just wondering if anyone knows whether the C-coupe shares the exact same filter as the C32? If so, can you tell me the measurements so that I dont have to ask my "lazy bones" to move?

Thanks a lot!!

That's what I had to do for them to make sure I got the right filter. It can't be that hard to remove, you're going to have to anyway to put the new filter on.

Sounds like a fly by night operation that asks for the customer to take pictures with a tape measure next to the filter. Do they not have a R&D budget? If I was helping them develop a product that they will later profit from, I would at least expect a free filter. Just my $0.02.......

Most companies that make performance parts usually neglect MB as most MB customers don't change their car at all. I don't agree with your assesment that the world is MB centric and they should be happy to make a product for you. ITG's market is not MB in the same way that ASP market is not MB and K&N's market is not MB. So if you want to cooperate with these companies to help you get the product you want it's your choice, just don't assume that they are fly by night just because they don't cater to our very small market. Then there are companies that take advantage of your situation and figure they can charge way more because they cater to a market that nobody else wants. Personally I want to help as many of these non-MB companies embrace our cars so that the amount and quality of products you can chose from is equal to what you can get on many other cars including Audi, BMW and Honda.

BTW, I paid the same as anyone else on the products I helped bring to market, I'm not in it for freebies.

ITG is most certainly not fly-by-night.

My entire point which seems to have gotten lost in the translation is: does relying on a photograph with a tape measure of an air filter seem like a way to design and build a performance air filter? Not to my engineering mind. I would rather borrow someone's car for a few days, take accurate measurements, and conduct performance tests. The benefit to the company is an engineered purpose built product. The benefit to the test car owner is a free (or reduced cost) air filter. The company then knows it has a built for purpose product that performs.

I agree the market for MB aftermarket accessories is nowhere near the Japanese manufacturer's, however you have proven the C coupe to be an easily modifiable car. That should drive more interest in it.

P.S. - A website does not a reputable company make.

i was hoping you would see it and do a -bit- of research. look on google for "ITG air filter". i'm an engineer too, and i doubt that ITG simply takes a few measurements from one customer and produces an entire product based on it.

I've read through the website a few times - I would like to believe that's not how they develop products either. I'm just going by our fellow MBWorld members experiences as they have relayed them to us.
