Lowering Springs Install For C230 In So Cal?

Hello:

I would like to get my 2006 c230 installed with H and R springs, but do not know anyone currently. I live in Orange County, California.

I have been quoted around 450 with installation? Do you think this is a good price?

Thanks,

Sanny

There are two shops that i would recommend and you might want to give them a call and get an quote on it first..

1. SSTR in Walnut (626)581-1790 ask for Steve [this shop does it really good...they got all the equipments to install the shocks and springs correctly and you won't ever have any problem w/ it..thou might be a little bit more]

2. ES-Sports in Torrance [i can't find the number to the shop rite now..but i'll keep on looking and post it up later] He can special order euro parts for any MBZ models...also another great shop.

Are you talking about ES Technical? They didn't really sell any euro stuff when I bought parts from them a few years back, but it's a pretty good shop that's been around a while.

http://www.es-sports.com/

I've been to TWS a couple times and have always had a good experience. Not necessarily the cheapest but usually they have pretty good pricing and they've always done good work.

This price is practically a steal! Does that include install and alignment though?

Sanny, I don't really need these. I've got my Super Streets compliments of TEIN, USA, but as for anybody else that's looking for a suspension upgrade, I was just indicating that the price was a very reasonable deal. Sorry if I confused anybody...

So for those of you who were thinking that I was getting rid of the TEIN's...Keep dreaming!...LOL

Oh yeah... you might also want to try Mazz Autosport in Monterey Park. If I remember correctly, I got H&Rs installed for either $320 or $350 (no alignment) about 3 years ago.

And there's D2 Technik... I'm pretty you'll be able to get them to do it for under $400 if you go there in person, but they're not always up front with the pricing over the phone.

No problem... you might even want try to bargain lower, haha. I think D2 would probably go as low as $350 depending on who is working and if you catch them on a good day.

2006 MB C230, Black on Black
The back of the seems a bit too low....

Can the back of the car be adjusted to ride a bit higher? It almost appears the rear of the car pictured is lower than the front. Also what about ride condition, what is your take on that?

Please expalin or correct me in my assessment.

Thanks for the reply.

I have the exact link on my website but it's something like D2Technik in Alahambra. Anyway, I paid $330 for parts and labor. I did Eibachs but I believe the H&R's where a few bucks cheaper. They did it whilst I waited, took about an hour or so and ate good Italian food about a block away, good experience, nice people, no problems. Just figure in a month or so after the springs settle you'll need to do an alignment and get the longer camber bolts from the C32.
