Problem with Becker Audio 10 CD?
Tonight it seems that the display on my Audio 10 is very dim. I'd say the brightness of the display matches that of the other lights on the radio's buttons and those of the rest of the center console. The radio frequency readout on my main dash display (below speedometer) is about twice as bright as that on the radio's radio frequency display. Normal? My wife should tell me tomorrow if it seems dimmer than normal in the daylight.

It always gets dim in the dark, when the speedometer scale gets highlighted. In daylight, it goes back to maximum. Just watch it change when going through a tunnel or under a wide bridge.

I know you had some similar questions as me on upgrading the stock C240 stereo system. Not sure if you ever got any answers. I have an inquiry into Becker about adding a crossover and amplifier to the existing setup, as it seems there is neither in stock (non-Bose) form. Will let you know what I find out.

Vadim, so you're saying that in the dark, while the radio's display gets darker, the display on the center dash gets brighter?

the center dash doesn't get brighter - it simply gets lit (the plasma screen stays the same), as you can't see the gauges in the dark without that, whereas the radio display gets dimmed in the dark since your eyes are more sensitive and there's no ambient bright light, as opposed to daytime.
