Found K&N Filters for the M271 Cheap!

Found K&N Filters for the M271 Cheap!
Hey guys,
I just wanted to give everyone who is looking to put in K&N's the heads up. The cheapest price I've found online was around $51 (thanks Drex!)... Well, apparently Amazon.com started selling them today. They're only $35 and some change shipped!

edit: what the hell? apparently shortly after I ordered mine (literally 5 minutes before I posted this) they took the link on the main page down. but if you click on "see all buying options" it'll still be there from amazon.com.

2005 C230 SS Kompressor
Sorry guys but I have to ask this question, is M271 is the engine for 05 SS kompressor? I am interested of installing a K&N filter for my carand this is a really good price.

K&N filters are okay. I have them in my C320. They don't filter as well as stock filter. I'm going to try out ITG racing air filters next in the new motor. ITG filters are dyno proven increase in HP; better filtration and flow because of trifoam.

You can check if ITG makes filters for the M271 engine. Coast Fabrication in HB is a local distributor for ITG racing filters. www.coastfab.com Green filters are pretty much the same as K&N in design and materials. Not much difference other than color.

Thats cheap as **** too!!! Over here I can find the same filter for 50 pounds, which is like, 90 dollars.

My list price is around $40 CDN. If I get someone to buy one for me from amazon and then ship it over to Canada I think the price will come out a little cheaper.
