BLACK 05 C230SS
OK, let me put in my 2 cents. I bought BLK on BLK and never owned a black car but always wanted to because it looks cool. But after going thru all these hand washes, claying, waxing, glazing, washing with dawn and claying and waxing..... I think I want to buy a WHITE MB on my next venture.

I like the White MB better because it looks classy and I want to paint the roof black like some of the guys on this board.

EZ Answer 4 U

As far as I can tell the discussion is moot. This car should be detailed in the parking garage once a week while its owner is at work or the gym. The detailers have all the cool products and it's easy to sit and complain until they get it right .......... right ?

Give any black car 3 years and it the paint will generally start to look a bit dull, so it's a good option for lease instead of purchase.

Having said that, I like the black the best on this car.

Good Luck Rich !

Back in Black

I have a black/black '06 C350 4MATIC and love it. It does take a bit more to keep it clean and I usually hand wash every weekend. If I have a lazy weekend I will take it through a brushless car wash (pressure jets). The brushes on a conventional car wash will tear up your finish.

a black car requires more care like a beautiful woman. Before she goes anywhere, she has to apply make up. If she doesn't, she would not look her best.

a silver car requires almost no care like the average male. We would just comb our hair and go

Black benz awesome color and it maintains its class but it is hard to keep it clean. Black interior is the way to go.. I still love my Mars red SS.

You can't go wrong with black on black no matter what the car. Dam near all my boys have black on black (or are about to get one):

Fella #1 black/black 325Ci
Fella #2 black/black Maxima (soon to become a black/black 530i
Fella #3 silver/black A4 (soon to become a black/black A4)
Fella #4 black/black 530i
Fella #5 red/black 325 (soon to become a black/black 325i)
Fella #6 black/black 525i

Too bad my black looks blue-ish/purple-ish

Black on black is what I chose when I bought the MB... won't do it again though. I drive my truck during the day because it has light gray interior. The black on black gets so hot, that it's unbearable in the florida heat. I
