Somewhat new owner and looking to lower my C230 Sedan...more for aesthetics than for performance reasons. I drive 60 miles round trip each day and don't want to change the ride comfort too much. Live in Los Angeles and also would appreciate any info on a place to have it done!
Thanks
Thanks

I see that you're in westwood. Now, before you get creamed for not searching first, I want to say Welcome to MBWorld.Originally Posted by Matrix66

Now that I've said that, make sure you try the search first before starting a thread (especially one that's been discused several times).
You've got a 2005, so that would mean you have the following:
- M271 engine (supercharged 1.8L I4)
- Upgraded suspension (sport suspension - AMG debatable - which includes upgraded springs, shocks, swaybars and direct control function).
- Upgraded exterior (AMG aerodynamics front bumper, side skirts and rear).
Now that those have been established, realize that by buying springs for this car, you wouldn't really be "upgrading" your springs. The average drop from what you currently have stock is anywhere from 1/4-1/2 inch (depending on which setup you go with). It seems that H&R springs would give you the most drop (especially in the rear with a smaller spring pad #'s 1-4 available - 1 being the smallest), but at the same time, it's not that big a difference from what you currently have stock.
Regardless, do a search for all the supsension threads. There are 2 supsension threads in the AFTERMARKET/DIY sticky thread above.
Welcome to the forum.
