Busted lugg nut.... ???

i busted a log nut when i was putting on my factory tires on the car for winter.... i am wondering if...

1. is this something that i should get fixed right away?
2. was told that the rotor will have to be replaced...
3. anyone think i could get this covered under warranty?

-Thanks
Carino

if the thread on the rotor is not stripped, you can just replace the lug nuts. Most cases, the lug nut is the one that stripped, that's way the lug nut can't go into the rotor. I'll get new lug nut first to see if it works before changing the rotor.

I hope this help. Good Luck

you can use an eazy out. you can get it at any hardware store. what it is, its a drill bit that turns the other way. you have to drill the stud a bit just do it slow and easy, you dont have to drill it all the way. after try using the easy out until it grabs. good luck

A box on 4 wheels
If you broke this yourself, no the dealers will not cover it. Get the lugnut replaced for 5$ a piece at the dealers. Take it out yourself first or they'll charge you a service fee which is way to high.
