There are two elongaded holes, one on each side of the cluster. Put your coat hanger down there and when it hits the end, push in an additional 1/4 inch, while simultaneously pulling that side of the cluster forward. Do it one side at a time.

I believe this antenna can be used for both the pre and post facelift comand, though the adapter cable is needed if you're using it with the post facelift (2005+). I personally tested these part numbers to be working with my 2005+ comand.
Someone else should verify if they've used this part number on a pre-facelift model.

Though the part number is different, that looks exactly the same as the one I had, including the adapter. You should go for it if its half the price.
