Unfortunately.. it's an absolute RIP off to change our brakes! I just changed my front rotors as well as my front & rear pads, resurfaced my rear rotors. All in all it cost me near $600.00 including labor at a buddies SHOP! Imagine what you will pay at the STEALER.

It's very unfortunate that we have no aftermarket support whatsoever!!

goodluck!

C230 SS
Pad pricing

Have to change my rear pads as well, just called Rusnak in Arcadia and the price for rear pads for my 2003 C230SS
was $56.16. Labor on the other hand is $115.00. But will prob take it to my friend's shop to install. Bought a set of Porterfield pads from formymercedes.com for like $90 for the rear a while back ago as well.

Can it be that hard to do it yourself????? I'm new to the Mercedes thing but the BMW guys have a ton of web sites with tips and the forums are very active!! Here the kind of site that we need......www.BMWtips.com I have done my own brakes on BMW for years and it takes all of an hour and a half to do all four. Good pads for them are like $35/pr too.

I've heard that to change a C class brakes takes like an hour for each end. Pads should be under $100. Or am I full of *****?
