The spacers make it about right. If you're getting the Mono VI's (I'm assuming 1 piece) and the offset is 45 (both front and rear), you take the 16mm front spacer, subtract from the 45 offset and you get 29. Same for the rear and you get 35. (F et 29 / R et 35). Sounds pretty close.

Do you have the rims already? If not, did you tell Brabus that you will be running on the TEIN Basic's because you definitely should have. Either way, there's always something that can be done to fix it if you have fitment issues.

TEIN Basic are back in stock.

$890 retail our price $765 plus S&H and tax if applicable. And yes suspension is still on sale from various brands. ask me for quote in email or PM.

If anyone have not experience with the TEIN coils you will not regret it.

yes sir...after driving few different suspension setup back to back. This is by far the best bang for the buck suspension. I think the only better one will be the PSS9 or KW V3.

How would you compare ride quality to the stock C32 set up??? I have an '06 C230 and want to lower it but like the ride the way it is. I also assume that running 19"s makes some ride quality difference as well???

Can I also assume that this is a fairly easy DIY project. You should not need to compress the front springs if you are removing the entire strut, right?

I hope it'll work. i got the multi-piece wheels, don't think it matters much in terms of offset. They're all 45

(F et 29 / R et 35).

is this the ideal offset u r looking for? i was concidering buying the TSW but seems like a lot of trouble with the spacers. so if i were to get an iforge or work what would the offset id be needingsince i can make the custom ordered? does it matter if i get a 8.0 in the front or 8.5? or is it an offset issue not as much as width issue?

I think it's both width and off set. I'm still very confused on how to figure out what is needed to clear the big brakes and the coil overs with out using spacers...

From what I've researched, for the '05 big brake calipers with 19x8.5 fronts and 19.9.5 rear, you need 32 or lower in the front and 35 in the back.

sounds like 27 to be safe.. and 35 in the back would be fine? i havent read any issues with the rear rubbing the coilover, just the clip and fender.. i went to the benz dealership and they wanted 33k for a 15k 05 230k and a brand new 06 was like 34.. interesting huh! hehe. i think i'll stick with an 06.. u mind tellin me how much u got ures for? u can PM me if u dont want to say in in the thread. thanks!

Thumbs up Tein Basics Installed

After waiting almost a month for the coilovers to get back in stock, I finally had them installed yesterday. Overall, I am very happy ! The drop on the 18s looks good without being slammed. The ride is noticeably stiffer, but not excessive. Handles much better. No more excessive roll and it takes the curves and corners great now. A before and after for your enjoyment...

Sorry, no. Those are 18 x 8.5 replicas from Lakeshore Wheel. While a lot of people might scoff at the replicas, I am very happy with them and have had a lot of positive comments from people who see them in person. Lakeshore was very good to deal with too. No spacers needed.

At work now, but I will get some pics of the lip later and post them tonight.

Do a search on Ebay. Once i found them I looked up their website and called for a wheel/tire package.
