COMAND Equipped and CD Changer...
Anyone else in this boat?
I've had my C230K with COMAND and the CD changer for almost 4 months and in those 4 months I have...
1. Never used the NAV disks
2. Never used the CD changer
I use the single CD slot for all of my tunes, never really drive enough to get through 1 CD in a sitting. I guess it kind of defeats the purpose of the options and I should have gotten an Audio 10...though, I will someday use the AUX-IN in the glovebox, so I am glad I have COMAND. Sigh.

The Audio 10 is not an option in the US, but a lot of US folks have bought them from Ebay.de and had them shipped over. Session's install pics dictate the process, a fairly easy swap and the sound quality results are said to be very nice. I have no complaints with the COMAND head unit, sound and output is very nice for my taste.
Supposedly, 2003s get a mid-year change to in-dash CD as standard at some point...whether that is Audio-10 like is unknown at this point.

That's just a myth like the clear bi-xenon headlamps and unicorns. MB will only sell an indash CD in a car when indash DVDs become standard in every car in the US and CDs are obsolete.
