The Best of Mercedes & AMG
driver's side door should take half the time now that i know how to do it.

this really wasn't too hard, the hardest part was getting the glue and moleskin onto the rubber gasket and trimming it so it looks good.
pics are coming soon!
i've been trying to figure out how to do this for 18 months, thanks to Ryanr317 I finally got er done.

one thing i noticed, the 2005 appears to be a little bit different at the rubber gasket that meets the window. the whole gasket is on a metal bracket that pulls up and is removeable. it looks like in Ryanr317's pics the gasket is attached to the door frame?
so as Ish from Pimp My Ride would say, "Now my window gasket is gonna be too many soft!!!"
Tomorrow the car is going straight to the tint man to get an appointment to have the front windows redone. the scratches look so bad!

the rubber strip can be removed from the door using a hook tool, moleskin applied and then pushed back down into the door.
i will have to try this for the rear doors which i have not done yet.

Then click on the Mercedes tab.
