18x8.5 and 9.5
I saw this setup on a C230 kompressor coupe like mine.
Custom Forged HRE 3-Piece wheels:
19" x 8.5" 447R Brushed Aluminum w/ clearcoat (Front)
19" x 9.5" 447R Brushed Aluminum w/ clearcoat (Rear)
* Dunlop SP Sport 9000 Tires: 235/35ZR19 (Front) - 265/30ZR19 (Rear)
And I'm only asking for
18" x 8.5 in the Front with 225/40/18
18" x 9.5 in the Rear with 265/35/18 or 255/35/18
and the guy in the store said the back would rub??
so he suggests:
18" x 8 in the Front with 225/40/18
18" x 9 in the Rear with 245/40/18
max.
is the offset of this rim bigger than the Custom Forged? or it doesn't matter at all? is that why he doesn't recommend the size I'm asking. or he's just talking BS?
does anyone have the setup I like on 18"??
please suggest.
