I had my windowscreen replaced after it cracked. However, I'm not sure if the replacement has the right tint (colour). It is obviously different from the side windows bt this maybe because the side windows have a stronger tint.

Does anybody know how to determine whether the windscreen tint is blue or green because I cannot just by looking at it?

Mine should be blue. The OEM was a PPG Solextra and the AGR is Pilkington.

 

Park your car with the windshield facing away from the sun. Roll down your driver's window and hold a sheet of white typing paper in front of the glass so that the paper picks up the sunlight and you're looking through the windshield at it. Unless you're color blind, you should be able to tell if the windshield tint is blue or green.
