someone slid something, most likely a bumper or something, about 5 feet down the bed of my truck and didnt leave a note or anything. i dont drive it that much, so it could have been a couple days old before i noticed. i decided, "**** it," it is a truck and i dont care!

Dang that sucks. I always park far in the back by myself when going to the supermarket. Or I go at odd times like at 9 or 10 at night.
I guess it wasn't really Untouchable....
Sorry I couldn't resist

Yeah, someone hda to have seen something. Try putting an ad out on craigslist or something on the missed connections or something. Who knows, maybe someone will answer.

Potential option
Perhaps the grocery store has a camera that had an angle on it?
You could always put up a poster in the area, but potentially, whoever saw anything would have forgotten any license plate info.
Sorry about your lose, kinda sucks.

Take it to DAYA's body shop in Orlando or the dealer.... if I remember I just got a flyer from North Orlando saying they opened up a collision center. I had to take my car to DAYA's when I got rear ended. The work was good except for the trunk lining not being re-installed correctly (fixed it myself) and the trunk doesn't open correctly sometimes... oh well. I would still go back there.
FYI.... I took my truck to a Toyota dealership's collision recently and when I got the truck back, (2.5 weeks later than they told me it would be ready), I found out it had been driven 2000 miles since I had dropped it off. So far they have done jack about this problem and quite frankly I have come to conclusion that everyone has forgotten the definition of the word accountability. I would suggest you document an exact mileage when you check in the car and make sure you document an exact mileage when you check out the vehicle, that way you ensure accountability and they know not to mess around. I have started this practice on all the cars. Best of luck and pm me if you have any questions man...... btw.... now might be a good time to build an enclosure for your trunk

Most Albertsons have several cameras in the parking lot, to protect themselves from suits. They will not share, so first tell your police there was a hit and run, with a blank note left. They might be able to get the video from Albertsons. It is then a simple matter to match vehicles to customers using the Preferred Card info and motor vehicle records. You might have to file against Albertsons, they will cave quickly, and you can get the perp to pay for the damage.
My car spent six weeks in the body shop recently, and it suxs to have someone in a beater ruin your ride. I fully understand you are angry.

Check with an attorney. I find it hard to believe damage to your legally parked car could be your fault. I have run across several "funny" laws in Florida recently, so it would not suprise me if they did blame you for driving a nice car.
