I want to lower the front?

I am running the H & R cup kit for my car, but I want the front to be a little bit lower. About an 1". Should I just cut my springs, or is there anythign else I can do.

Thank You

I cut my front springs (H&R).
I cut 1 coil and I don't find it is low enough, but it did go lower then you are now.
And it still rides okay (my back is very low)

i wouldn't cut the front. once you cut the front springs, your car will get lower and lower. eventually, it'll bottom out. trust me, i know. i've done it before and i won't be doing it again.

I cut 1 coil up front and 2 in the back. I'm dying to lower the front more but if I cut another coil it will go too low. I think I'm going to order the cup kit for the front (if I can).

I think a car can never be too low, here is a pic of my last car
3.2 TL. 6 inch drop

Why would one need a car that (obviously) can't be driven? What fun is it to sit in it in your garage...

i don't think cutting springs are a good idea in general. note that some springs are progressive rate and cutting springs will change their properties.

eibach says in their faq:
What is wrong with heating or cutting a coil spring to lower a vehicle?

Heating or cutting a coil spring in order to lower a vehicle is just plain foolish. These procedures are very dangerous and at the very least results in poor handling due to the changing of the original springs characteristic and pre-load.
