They weren't even the expensive spinners.... like he was bragging about. They were the bolt on/add on spinners that are significantly cheaper.......

hes cool tho, c230_o5, hes just confused on what rims to really get, he wants black rims with a chrome lip, so its very narrow on choices he can get. I suggested some HRE 500 and 800 series but its way out of his price range. Hes narrowed down to TSWs and a few more choices. Hes also thinking if certain rims will rub or not and the sizes that is suitable. The locals right here are crazy, they charge u more than double the price on the internet. for example, this place, "Big Boy Toys" here in NYC wanted to charge my friend $650 for a set of "Phillips Hella Ballast" (what he called it) HIDS. I asked him if it was Phillips Ultinon, and he said "yeah its made by hella" and i gave him that 
look...he showed me the box and it was in Chinese and he stated it was from Japan, and the back said, "made in taiwan"
electromethod, the bolt on spinners are so tacky!!! the only benz that it MIGHT look "ok" on are the ghett0-ready ones, aka the S, CL, ML, G
but on a c class, E class, clk, sl, slk....oh man just doesnt look right.
hahahah one day, i'm gonna get a bat, and abuse my car and get xzibit to "pimp my ride", watch him get it like **** green, some wessssstttt coast custom 50" rims, like speakers coming outa my *** and like a freakin on-board ***** or something...or looking like that C240 that someone posted (the one without doors and stuff) from taiwan

well I already told him in one of his many previous threads that the catalunya's by tsw looked sick on the coupe. If I had a black coupe, I would go with those. No doubt it would look incredible.....I almost went with them for my sedan but realized it just wouldn't flow on a four door.
