I can guarantee your car would be very unique because I haven't heard of many people who even like that kit, let alone anyone who would actually spend money on it.

lol... Didn't you just spell it wrong? Shouldn't it be Kleemann, according to the plates.. Also, he had the thread title spelled right, just the text in his message wrong, probably just some typo...

Because they are sooooo expensive ?? I checked with my local dealer and he doesnt want to quote it himself. Maybe the price is way too high comparing to the other well-known brands.

The Kleemann "Body Kit" actually just consists of add-on's if you look at those pictures closely (follow the edges). It's not a replacement front or rear bumper, they're just extensions of either the 2004 or 2005 style W203 aerodynamics.

I understand what your saying about the back...but the front...how could they get the part in the center of the main air vent without replacing the bumper?

That I have no clue about - though its definitely some type of add-on if it's not "flush" near the wells.

Haha, thank you for the reply guys. Ya, i had typing mistake in my message for the word, "Kleemann." Lolz. I am sure it will be expensive to buy parts straight from Kleemann because there might not be any discount. I never get my parts at retail price. Discount are every where..... Anyway, I think I will try my local shop because the shop is also a Brabus Distributed Dealer.

Thank you,

Nico

Hm, I think you might be hardpressed to find any type of wholesale discount of products from Kleemann USA. I believe Kleemann operates pretty strictly with their prices (i.e. expect to pay retail).

I was gonna get it, Blake, but...this only fits on the 2005 w/ the AMG kit.

Guys, I've talked to Corey (@ Kleeman) 10 million times about the kit because I really wanted to do it (but didn't want to buy a whole AMG Kit, just to get it).

The Front is an add on. It's not a replacement bumper. Only fits on C32, 2005+sport models. I even asked if there was any possibility that they'd make a complete replacement bumper. Absolutely no.

The rear is an add on lip also. Will only work with the contours of the above models.

Hope that helps.

if that's the case looks like there's one good thing for having the 05-06 front bumper. i heard the rear lip retails for $900, so the front may be around the same price if not more.

Front is $1,300; Rear is $900

I was willing to dish out the cash, but since my car doesn't have the AMG body styling...oh well...but I have decided the route I'm gonna go...obviously, after the power mods and my rims get in...looks like it's another 2-3 weeks till my rims are in.

I didn't exactly mean "unique" as a good thing. I personally think that Kleeman kit is disgusting.

drex,

I know that Kleemann have told you that they need a AMG kit as base, but since this time we have more clear pics.

It's very obvious that the kit is an add-on for the standard bumpers. The front foglights, and rear tow-hook cover all points toward a non-AMG kit. Reason being that first, the AMG foglights are not flat faced because they curves to fit the line of the AMG kit. Those fogs you see in the picture are the flat faced square fogs used for the normal C-class. Second, the rear tow-hook cover is flat instead of the one that is curved for the AMG kit.

For this kit it is 90% likely that you have to cut off part of the original bumper to make them fit. Like how the Expression rear valence works.

also keep in mind that the car pictured is a C200k without the AMG kit or painted door handles given that if one opt for the AMG evolution kit they will have chrome trim on the impact strips as well as the door handle. And as far as I know only the C200k Classic does not come with the chrome trims and painted door handles. The Classic trim also uses the 01-04 Standard bumper.

at this point I am pretty much calling the sales you talk to an idiot for telling you that you need a AMG kit for this add-on.

Corey is one of the main Kleeman people in Denver though, isn't he? All the information he was getting was directly from the developers of the kit. Since you are a retailer, Frank, could you find out for us?

If this is the case, I may reconsider my path for a body kit.

Thanks.
