2002 c240 Winter/Summer switch problems..
I have a 2002 c240 and I started to drive it one day, and it wouldnt shift out of 2nd gear.. I am a car dealer and ive owned another 2002 c320 and it did the same thing.. I took it to a MB certified dealer, and they said the w/s switch was bad, so I told them to give me an estimate and it was $800.. they told me that if I just disconnected the switch it would shift through all the gears, but it would jerk.. So I disconnected the switch, and it jerks, so I need to know if this is a common problem or not.. let me know and if there is any cheap cure for it.. Let me know.. thanks
