cant find 1.8 kompressor badges!?

cant find 1.8 kompressor badges!?
Searched ebay- all over and cannot find for the life of me the 1.8l Kompressor side badges that the old slk's (i believe) use...anone know where I can pick these up? Not looking for the rear trunk emblems, as they wont fit onto the front quarter pannels. thanks

Unless your talking about some Europe thing, which I'm not 100% sure of, the SLK never came in 1.8. The late 2003-2004 (not sure about 05) coupes had a 1.8 badge on the side...but none had the word Kompressor, that was an SLK thing (and AMG).
I think you can pickup the 1.8 from the coupe and the Kompressor from the SLK. Not all SLKs had Kompressor on the side either...I think it was only a select few years.

ok so yeah like i said i wasnt sure if it was the SLK...i dont pay attention to them just cuz they're ugly but I always remembered seeing the badging on the side. So yes it was in the Coupes then- my mistake....but uh where can I pick them up?

my 03 sedan came with the 1.8 badges...... I have seen a lot of 03 sedans with the 1.8 badge but they stopped putting them on the sedans shortly afterwards. Guess it looks dorky....

"kompressor" was on the SLK 230 a while ago.
and "1.8" was on the C coupe i believe right when the C changed to the 1.8k engines
so you need to get 2 different badge off 2 cars! hope this help.

It's interesting that the 03's seem to have come with 1.8 badges but my 04 coupe doesn't. I'll have to check my cousin's 03 to see if she has the 1.8 badging as well, but I don't recall seeing it on her coupe either. Maybe it was a regional or dealership thing?

Hey man I have some 1.8 badges sitting around from my old c coupe, you can have them if you want. No kompressor lettering though.
