When Driving 70mph, car swivels left and right
Hello All,
I have a 2006 C230. I have the car for about 3 weeks now. When I'm driving on the freeway, going around 70mph, I can feel the car pulling left and right in a rocking motion. Does anyone know the cause? I also notice the same thing when I was driving my sister's 2006 C230. Is this normal? Has anyone experience this in their car? I plan to take it to the dealership to have it check out.

If he's experiencing the same problem on same cars for him and his sister, then the problem is definitely the tires.

Lam - Have you checked the pressure in the front tires? They should be set at about 28 PSI cold, but sometimes they come from the dealer at closer to 40 or 45 PSI. (Or, I suppose, they might be UNDER-inflated instead).
Also, does your sister's car have the same tires as yours? If so, what brand and model?

you can change it at your own will, but that's just waste of money. Dealership's not gonna change the tires for you because of this reason since it's perfectly normal.
