Question How long have you left your car idle?

No clue why my other post was blank, anyway...this was what i wanted to say:

I'm planning a trip across Europe in June and my car will be idle for up to a month. I'm curious how long people here have left their cars idle. I wonder if I should get someone to start the car every week or so (maybe not drive it around, but just get the engine going?). What would you do?
I have a 2005 SS.

lots of people on the board do worry about the weirdest things. some are afraid of getting it wet, others don't want to get any brake dust on the wheels so they don't brake.....

anyway, your car will be fine. the only time i heard people would turn on the car after being idle for awhile are classical cars (40+yrs old). but if you are worried and you just have somebody with no life, they by all means, let them start the car every week.

now if you said more than one month like 1 year, i probably would be tooting a different tune.

The Benz is not my daily driver (company covers everything on my work vehicle), but I try to take it out at least once a week to keep the fluids moving and make sure no flat spots develop on my tires. It gets more difficult during our 4 month busy season when I'm working 7 days a week, so there have been times I've left it idle for a couple of weeks straight. The rest of the year I drive it on the weekends. You should be fine for a month, but if there is someone (preferably not a female if you care about your wheels and front bumper) willing to take it for a spin around the block once a week, that sure wouldn't hurt matters.
