C230 coupe K2 Package: Motorola Timeport Phone?
HI everyone, I'm a new member and I had a question for you all. When I got my 2002 C230, I got the "K2" Package. When I looked on the window sticker the description says: "Integrated TIMEPORT Phone, CD Changer, Handset included, Provided by MB Center." The thing is, when I asked the dealer about the TIMEPORT phone, he said that it was extra and would cost me about $300. He said that the K2 Package just includes the cradle and the voice recognition, but not the phone itself. Doesn't that contradict what the window sticker says??? Is the dealer right, or did I just get ripped off???

You got ripped off.....
The phone is included in the K2/K2a package. See the sales manager and inform him of your intent to call MBUSA to notify them of their scam. Then make that call!

Good news...I emailed the dealer and told him they ripped me off big time and they replied back saying that it was just a misunderstanding. The next day they said I could pick up the Timeport phone and thats exactly what I did. Better late than never I guess....
