Schatz Exhaust Tip installation help!
I just got my Schatz exhaust tip yesterday in the mail. I tried installing it onto my 2002 MB c240. I was able to place the tip over the exhaust pipe but there is also a 6 inch metal extension that is suppose to attach to the exhaust fastener but it does not fit over.
Has anyone had experience installing the schatz exhaust tip? do you need to bend that metal extension or use any special tools? Is this a factory defect?
Please advise. Thanks!

ShortBear, Just do what DTS did. He did the cleanest job ive seen with the SCHATZ exhaust tips. It usually comes out crooked , so u might have to do some minor mods to it.

Schatz Install
Tips went right on with no trouble--but the side support clamp did not go all the away around the hanger. However, it did clamp down tightly with no difficulty. Had to adjust the set screws for the tail pipe a couple of times to make the tips line up with apron.

I just checked out Schätz's homepage, and unfortunately it doesn't look like they make any exhaust tips for the W210. I highly doubt that the W203-tips will fit on a W210. They even differ between the 4 and 6-cylinder W203's.
Check it out for yourself. I might have missed something.
Go to Schätz-tuning
and click on Mercedes-Shop in the top of the page.
Good hunt!

Tips
Whoops! its MyRoadster.net vice .com-but no e-class tips currently available. BTW have had excellent service from MyRoadster including a free sack of car care goodies shoved in the order.

Go to www.myroadster.net and look for it over there. They're listed at $135.
