A couple of questions???
1st question...
Yesterday I replaced the sealed beam on my C230's right side (passenger) and with the wiring harness I pulled a sensor thats attached to the same harness. What is this sensor and where does it go?
2nd question...
If I turn my high beams and pull twice the light bulb in the corner inside triangle of the tail light should light and it doesn't. I see that the left (driver) side plug has more cables to it but I don't know if the left tail-light feeds differently. How many cables go to the right (passenger) side tail-light plug?
Anyone can copy the lighting diagram or PM / E-mail it to me?
Thanks Again/Al
2nd question -
This thread was bumped on Monday:
LINK: S-Class taillight wiring
It has the wiring schematic on the taillights. Also, make sure that the bulb is working properly. I believe the bulb that has the rear fog/running light is a dual filament bulb (not positive though). Is your car still under warranty? If so, take it in and get it fixed for free.
(no wonder I got no replies!!!)Anyhow...The sealed beam (bulb)I repaced was the fog light (front right side). The wiring harness to this bulb splits in two and one side goes to the bulb and the other goes to a conical looking black sensor. This is the sensor I have no clue where it goes to.
Thanks Again/Al
