Just installed new grille today. Very satisfied with it compared to previous one. Thx to JW001 who sold me the grille.

Thx for the advise. I like the hood star and I prefer the grille to be as it is though. I ever thought of installing a black grille, but not now.

What C-class do you have? The original grill is a classic model of C-class.

Definitely a nice improvement

I have a 2002 C240. This is the only C class that I ever see with a grille(classic) that ugly. Finally, I can change it.

GPI, Looks much better! I didn't realize you had the luxury grille. BTW, just so you know, somebody already bought my OEM grille. 2005 Sport grille looks great though!

Excellent choice of selecting the 2005 sport grille (3 slats). I see that you've decided to remove your license plate. Are you planning on filling those holes or just going to leave it as is? Are there 4 holes???? or 2?
If so, there are threads on purchasing "bumperplugs"

Thx man! There are 4 holes. Since it is illegal to take off the front license plate in Seattle, I'm afraid I will have to put it back if I'm caught. So, for now, I'm not sure if i will fill the holes. Thx for the info on the bumperplugs though.

You're welcome. It's illegal out here in California too. I unfortunately have 4 holes like your bumper. I too haven't decided to remove the plate and fill the holes. The plugs are just an option for those who choose do away with front plates.

Arnold, have you by any chance seen that MTV show "Trick It Out". It's hosted by RJ Davera, but my point is that there was a car company out here in So-Cal that was in the competition and they fabricated an electronic sliding cover for the license plate to be concealed (granted, it was for the rear). Now, it was strictly for "show" purposes and the theme they were working with was "secret agent", but just thought I'd mention it cuz I thought it was one of the coolest gadgets.

I haven't seen that particular show on MTV. That would certainly be cool gadget to have. They would probably have to trick out the front bumper considering its curved and one flowing piece. Maybe "GPI-AMG" and I would have to create our on "ghetto" way of concealing our front plate.

looks good.

my only question is that how did you get a classic trimmed C-class in the US? did that car originally came from Canada?

I was curious about that too. I am the only W203 owner who has the classic grille(I suppose). I checked the title and it was actually from California.
