I was doing some moding and had a little problem with the center consol on my 2004 c230. I could not get the cup holder out to remove the two center screws. I had the rubber base out and was try to lift and rotate the cup holder out but it would not budge. I kept reading and thinking my car must be different. Then all of a sudden it came out. It was welded in place with lahte glue. I must have spilled sometime ago and it got down in there and dried. So now that I am done I have my heated seats and TV tuner installed and everything is working perfect. Thanks to this forum and all the help from people on here. Next is parktronic and bi-zenon I think. I keep reading ***** stories about the head lights I'm not sure I want that much trouble with my lights. Its my commuter, so I don't like the hasle. Oh well funny story, It only took two andf half hours finding out about the coffee spill. Thanks again for everyones help, Russ
