it'll look fine, it doesnt really have anything to do with the amg kit cuz the amg kit doesnt come stock with a roof spoiler

How did you secure it to the glass/weather stripping? silicone? glass glue? tape? I'm having a hard time finding a solution to resist theft. Emailed, searched w/o much info. Any help would be great. Thnx.

I have the carlson type in cf but it's not a perfect fit. I'd get OEM if I had to do it again.

The one I have for sale is indeed OEM, but carbon fiber wrapped. Not Carlsson style, but OEM. I made a correction about that later in the thread.

has anyone bought any of these spoilers? the look of them appears to be the same replicas i see on the board, just not sure how many different places make a replica. just want to be sure it fits correctly.

was just wondering if anyone has removed the trunk lid spoiler that was added to the 2007 c230s. i just picked up a car but am not a fan of the spoiler at all (kind of wish they never changed the rims either). I was also wondering if the trunk lid is otherwise the same as the 2005,2006 models once the spoiler is off. It seems pretty easy to pull off but just wanted to make sure before I did something stupid.

LOL it is all in the eye of the beholder. As a 2005 owner, I prefer both the 2007's spoiler and the 2007 rims. If your car is silver send me your spoiler.

I like the pre '07 wheels better too, but I guess I got an early build '07 because that's what mine has.

If your car has the same rims as my 05, then someone put those on it. No 2007 cars have these rims no matter what the build date. If you like them best that's cool you already have the swap!

the rims are kind of a toss-up, i agree. sometimes i think they look better and sometimes not. too bad you're all the way out in California- Tazim!

Anyone have any info on removing the spoiler though? That's what really bothers me.

by the way the car is black in case anyone is interested in the spoiler once it comes off.

Where are you located Kunal? I think the spoiler is put on with adhesive.

I'm located in Orlando, FL. If youre interested in the spoiler do let me know. I'll probably just take the car to a local body shop and see what they recommend in terms of removal if I don't hear of anyone having a sure-fire method.
