Hey have you guys ever seen w211 door handles on a C-Class (w203) ?

I like the little chrome accent they added on the top of w211 door handles, but ive never seen it on w203s does anyone know if there are aftermarket parts such as these? Ive looked on ebay and i havent seen any!

I have them on my w203. I believe it has the "elegant/luxury package"-sorry I don't know the part number.

Here you go. Sorry for the delay, my car was in the shop today for a replacement Crank Shaft Position Sensor. Here are the pictures (taken by cell phone), sorry I don't know the part number.

The W211 and W203 share the same door handles but you need a different W203 plastic bearing to support the handle on the door.

 

ya know if its an easy install / how much it would cost? i havent seen the handles on ebay... and sadly, thats my primary source of finding prices on mb thangs..

you can get this at FMM under chrome accessories.

 

The install is not easy. It is medium hard for a novice. First of all all of the door trims have to come off.

Front doors with the windows up the bearing and door handles are pretty easy.

Rear doors - the whole window setup has to come out because of the small vertical bar which blocks access to the bearing of the handles.

The chrome top handle is not going to fit in the one-colour painted handle bearing or the unpainted black handle bearing.

 

I guess I was lucky that it came with the car when I bought it.

 

The "Sport Sedan / Sport Coupe" Does not comes with the chrome top. Anotherword C230, with the 1.8Kompressor.



ONLY the LUXURY sedand comes with the chrome. C240 / C320 / C32 ...

Hard to install / also Expensive to buy new handle and installled.

 

that one set of doorhandles I did at your place made me realise that the chrome trimmed handles on my C270CDI simply had to stay (eventhough I hate that chrome)...way too much work to change out the bearings on the inside of the rear doors in order to get the other doorhandles to fit it.
