Love the new sig btw!

I respect everyone opinions. Lets face it, Mercedes are not cheap, and there are only a handful of people out there that actually modify Mercedes, and about 90% of them are on this website! lol
Carbon Fiber prices just keep going up and up every month, so this stuff is not getting cheaper. It is funny how I have got some people saying, our lip is so cheap when, Brabus Carlsson, Renntech, Lorinser etc... charge about $750 + for a FIBERGLASS lip and people buy it. Even worse is a decklid spoiler in fiberglass which is about $500 and still needs to be painted. If we sold hundreds of these a month like it were a part for a Honda Civic, well then hell I think they would be like $150-$200. Point is it cost a lot of money to make this, and not enough demand in the Market for Mercedes aftermarket parts for the price to be low enough without us losing money. We are still under all the name brands in price and we offer carbon fiber over fiber glass which cost more to get a hold of and is more labor intensive to make.
On a side note, I have got quite a few email in the past 2 weeks asking if we will consider a group buy on the C-class Carbon fiber lips for the AMG bumper. I may consider it and if I do you guys will see that post in this forum.

NEAL! This is why you are a classy guy! A group buy is a great idea! I know you must have a bunch of these left since broke a sses like myself bailed on you when the close to $600 dollar price tag was announced. I apologize for that and for everyone else who backed out. Price was just a bit much for me personally.
But I would be all for a group buy that would give a reasonable drop in the original price and in which you would still make a good profit. You could probably move most of them right through mbworld if we get 10-20 people.
Please think about it. This idea would work for everyone involved since I know you would like to move these lips as well. Let us know!

Yea, you guys should definitely work together and get identical carbon fiber lips.
Keep us informed with the price you get. I think a good 25% off, included shipping, and no tax is reasonable to ask for.

Isn't there a thread that says that they're holding a sale and the lip has free shipping? You should check that out because that might change a bit of minds here because shipping is pretty pricey aint it?

In a group buy, you can always negotiate the shipping. Make an offer, $450 shipped to each individual address and everything, see if they can do it. Seems like we have a few people here who would be interested.

If we do the group buy, i assure you the pricing will be very good. You guys will possibly see a thread sometime next week if i decide on it.

I think 1/2 off his a good price. 25% off is the bare minimum for me. Then again, I'm not really considering this modification.
When I go into the jewelry store, they always know to give me 25% and no tax for basic items (like fountain pens!).

I know a family who does group buys on cars. Everybody in the family bought a Lexus LS430 about two years ago. Didn't save them very much unfortunately.
We even have group buys for charity stuff at the pen stores. The fountain pen store often hosts the youth symphonies and we do a group buy from them to get the pens we want in the serial numbers we want too (pen collecting is complicated, we want lower serial numbers on the limited edition pens).
Definitely not rare, not terribly often, but more than occassional.
You don't need to laugh so hard that your crying.

Oh, I forgot to mention, at the Bentley dealership, they were hosting an event showing the new Continental Flying Spur, they had invited local jewelry stores to the event.

But you're right, I've said too much about the money issue and I apologize. I will keep a bit more mum from now on.
