CDN car in Orlando

I moved to Florida in august, got the C 230 new last april (leased). since abt december i've been taking the car back to the dealer (in FL) to get the chair fixed, and for finally i was told there was nothing they could do, other then returning the car to Canada, it'll take me abt a week + repair time to get it fixed. Do u know any thing that could help me get the repairs done in Florida? I would ask the dealer but quite frankly they are very slow to take any real action to help me, other then buying a car....lol....any help would greatly be appreciated....thnx in advance..

p.s. canadian warranty is only for a year, I'm over a year by 6 days as of May 2nd 2006

I never mentioned, it was the driver's seat, not fully electronically adjustable but certain movements are electric

I'm shooting from the hip here so please;

International warranty is 1 year, CAN -> US. You have proof of attempted fix with MBUSA. Due to your relocation you might be able to use the argument with MBCAN to provide extended coverage.

BTW, there is no difference in the seat design, electric or otherwise.

The dealer is claiming that the seats are different then the american seats......they took apart the seat and couldn't find anything wrong with it

They've been trying to fix the problem since January, so i'll try and argue that they haven't been able to fix it since then....the american warranty is something like 4 years?

US warranty length has nothing to do with it. You crossed international borders. Your warranty automatically went to international.

BTW,
you still have not explained what is wrong with your seat. If you say what, maybe someone will know. If not, STFF. but sitting here telling us something is broke without saying what you think is broke is not helping you.

WOW, i can't believe i 4 got to mention that
First of it creaks, not minor like many cars this one creaks big time, doesn't matter shift ur weight, acceleration hard or soft, turning , even touching the seat with ur finger and pressing done will get it to creak. The electronic switches wouldn't work sometimes, It's intermittent so they are saying they don't know wat's wrong with the switches. Oh and lumber support doesn't work either, and it's a manual handle too.

My main concern is that when i return the car they will be charging me to fix it, and the dealer is well, saying they don't know canadian cars. They are the same only difference i was able to spot was KPH instead MPH
