I love the tunnel mode, once, I had the moonroof opened, and I pressed the button and my passenger exclaimed that the moonroof closed all by itself.

He thought the car was possessed, I let him think that for a few miles but I finally gave in.

I've tried it a couple of times and it doesn't work on my car. Oh well.

Are you holding the button?

Try holding the button a little longer. Since you have an 05, we should have the exact same climate control system.

Try holding the air recirculation button when one window is opened and the air recirculation is off. Sometimes it doesn't engage if you press it very abruptly.

On my C - I love the AMG body styling the most.
Then it would be the Sports steering wheel with gear shift buttons behind it
and the fact that on the Sport edition here is Australia you get 6 spoke mags that are wider and more indented on the rear... looks awsome in motion - 3d look

your A/C has to be on i think...i just tried it...its soo cool...lol

lets say you have 4 people in the car and eachone has the window open to their own spot and you get a phone call...you which your a/c (so wont get stuffy when windows go up i guess) and press and hold the air recycle button(when its off) it turns on and when you hold it it closes everything up...and when your done press and hold it(when its on) and all the windows that were down will go back to its orginial spot before you pulled them up!!! amazing technology! LOL

Yup. It's pretty funny.

I never have my windows opened (I don't like the draft), but next time when I have four people in my car on the coming summer, I'll roll down the windows (assuming that the car is clean and that I don't get gunk into the door when I roll them down) to ventilate the car and then close it. When people ask me how I did that, I'll simply say, "do what" and press the button to return the car's windows to the original position.

That's going to be loads of fun.

Dang, you beat me to it. I also love the seats. Hard, not soft, and supportive in the right places. After a five hour drive, no back ache at all.

everything mentioned above. great technology
but above all the looks, the SS just looks right. not too extravagant and not too plain. i get lots of compliments on how 'sporty' the car looks, and people always assume the rims and brakes are aftermarket, i tell them 'nah man, stock' on a side note, i love the standard 17" rims on the C-class S.S. BUT i wish they were bigger! like a 19"? that would be awesome! any replicas out there?

I actually don't like my seats, they don't have enough side support, especially on the seat portion of the seat (not the reclining portion). Doesn't hold me very well in cornering. Otherwise, it's very nice and firm but not overly firm like in the W210 E Class.

Not for me either... Seats do not have enough lumbar support, especially for someone with a prolapsed disc like me...

I know what you mean on having a bad back. Mine may not be a severe, but my back can get pretty rough at times. The seats are dream for me. Just right.

If I wanted to ride on a cloud though, I would drive my girlfriends Volvo. Those seats are amazing.

Recaro time!

My favorite little thing is the sunglass holder in the glovebox. Panorama roof also, though the constant squeaking and shade breakdowns in mine are annoying.

Passive Tire Monitor/Sensor is the best invention ever! I was on my way to work today and 1 minute away, the sensor comes on saying to check my tire pressure. I pull into the gas station across from work and check the tires. Sure enough, I'm low 10 psi in the rear right. I fill up the tire and re-set the sensor.

Bad news is, I got my first curb rash! (Have absolutely NO clue how it happened.)

Yesterday I played with the tunnel mode all afternoon. The g/f was impressed for about .0001 seconds and then asked, "You've been doing that all evening haven't you?"

me: "YEP!!!!!"

She rolled her eyes.

I like the all-in-one "key" (no silly FOB to eff with)

Too bad we don't have a button to make other drivers bump the turn signal when they decide to change lanes.
