DIY Changing Fog lamp Bulbs & W203/CL203 Fog Lamp Thread
I think this post would be pretty useless if I did have a manual? The ones I searched and found spoke of the 04 and wanted to make sure there was no difference
I just replaced my foglight bulbs from the NOKYA arctic purple bulbs to NOKYA arctic white. Main reason is my left side foglight went out.
So I guess they didn't last as long as I thought they would, but since I bought the arctic whites, they look much nicer than the arctic purple bulbs.
I will post pics later on tonight, so you guys can get an idea of how it looks with the bix as well as how it looks with just the parking lights.
Eventually, this will all be irrelevant when I change my bumper (but that won't be for a while), so these will do for now.
Can I just say that the driver side foglight is such a pain in the a$$ to change. Passenger side is easy, but man. Such a freakin' hassle just to replace one foglight....LOL
I've seen it done a few times, quite a few screws, plastic grommets, and a metal bracket.

Seemed pretty easy to me.....
If we're talking about the entire assembly, not sure how much would be involved.
Just to replace the bulb, best way to do this is below the front bumper. Remove 3 or 4 of the push pins and you have to literally pul the liner out, so that it is slightly under the bumper. In order to do this, you'll have to push the bumper a little forward (don't worry. It's polyurothane, so it is flexible). After you do that, you should be able to fish your hand inbetween the liner and the front bumper to where the driver's side bulb is.
I believe there's another thread that has many recommendations on how to replace the bulb.

If you want to remove the actual fog light, you have to remove the bolts, take out the pins and rip that whole panel out, the panel is like indestructable so after the pins and bolts, just yank the whole thing out, once inside, you'll know how to remove the fog light, it's just two hex bolts I think, can't remember, but I had to remove mine to put in my meshing. Didn't think of taking pictures for a DYI cause I idn't think it was that hard.
Remember, this is from beneath the front bumper, NOT through the front side of the wheel well. Locate the 3 push pins closest to where the fog lamp is situated. Those are the three that you'll have to pull out. Once you do that, you can pull the lining away and out. You'll have to push the bumper forward a little and pull the lining down until it is under the bumper. This is in order to create some space for you to fish your hand through. I found it easier after jacking up the car, but several people have done it without jacking up the car.

NOKYA bulbs are pretty reliable. Good quality and not as expensive as PIAA's.
