I know, i tried searching but no luck but how often are you suppose to change the tranny fluid?

My book was printed in New Jersey, and says "forget about it..." for 150,000 miles.

this would be nice to know....

I read a thread the other day about a 100k service where the trans fluid was flushed.... the guy said it was FILTHY! and he suggested that it should be flushed every 50k miles....

after i stff... i found this:

Yes, I read someone with a CLK430 on this forum flushed his transmission fluid at around 50k miles and said it was filthy.

That reminds me, I should probably flush the transmission fluid on a car in the garage that has around 50k miles.

They say the transmission fluid lasts for the lifetime of the vehicle. Personally, I doubt it.
